CIP modular skids
Hadron's automatic CIP modular skids are plug-and-play systems specifically engineered for use in dairy production and beverage industries.
Our CIP module is a skid-mounted, modularized plug-and-play station designed for automated cleaning-in-place procedures for dairy equipment, including piping, tanks, filling machines, heat exchangers, and other units. The cleaning parameters, including time, temperature, pressure, and flow, are fully customizable to cater to the specific requirements of our customers, ensuring optimal cleaning results.
CIP cleaning involves several steps to ensure effective sanitation of equipment and pipelines in industrial settings, particularly in food and beverage production. Typically, it begins with the preparation and delivery of cleaning agents. This process includes a rinse cycle followed by cleaning with a detergent wash, disinfection, another rinse, and a final rinse.
To enhance cleaning effectiveness, elevated temperatures are often employed, facilitated by heating elements within the CIP skid. Pipeline cleaning relies on achieving sufficient fluid velocity to induce turbulent motion, dislodging residue particles that need removal. A common guideline suggests a velocity of 1.5 meters per second, which, along with pipeline size, determines pump size for chemical delivery.
CIP skids can vary in design, accommodating single or multiple tanks depending on the application’s complexity. Their size and scale correlate with the number of tanks, the length of pipeline, and whether cleaning occurs in parallel or sequence. Generally, CIP skids integrate chemical dosing mechanisms, a heat source like a heat exchanger, and a control panel with valves and pumps for chemical distribution.
Key Features of CIP System:
- Design adheres to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance standards.
- Contact parts constructed from AISI 316/316L stainless steel, while non-contact parts are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
- CIP (Cleaning-In-Place) system enables automatic cleaning using plain water, hot water, detergent, D.M. water, and rinse solutions without requiring extensive disassembly and reassembly.
- Capacity is customizable according to customer requirements.
- The system includes reservoirs for cleaning chemicals and rinse solutions, along with pumping and heating capabilities for these solutions.
- Cleaning process comprises multiple cycles where rinsing material is recycled through vessels, pumps, valves, and other process equipment in the flow system.
- Cleaning can be conducted using automated systems, ensuring reliability and meeting strict hygiene regulations in industries like food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceuticals.
- All operation processes occur within sealed pipelines, offering ease of operation, labor savings, and meeting high sanitary standards.
- Advantages include energy efficiency, high work efficiency, excellent cleaning effectiveness, operator safety, and ease of operation and maintenance.
